Their chants focus on similarities in their religions. In various thematic blocks a certain content of faith such as charity and reconciliation, songs of praise, angels, prayer and the house of God, invocation of God, request for mercy, protection and care is musically taken up first from a Christian and then from an Islamic point of view. A final song and amen close the concert.
The concert lasts about an hour and will be moderated by Professor Sibylle Brunner, board member of the German-Omani Society.
We are organizing this concert on the occasion of our 30th anniversary and in the context of 50 years of diplomatic relations between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Sultanate of Oman.
